Court Booking Rules

Camberley Lawn Tennis Club Booking Rules

No member will be able to have more than 6 ‘open’ bookings. A booking is no longer ‘open’ once the booked time has passed.
Courts can be booked up to 15 days in advance.
A booking can be cancelled at any time before play without penalty. However, if members are found to be booking courts and consistently not using them, the Club Captain will launch an investigation and the member may face booking penalties.
No member* will be able to book more than one court for the same time period i.e. you cannot book two courts for 2.00pm on the same day. It is also against the spirit of the club and booking rules for the booking player to then play on an immediately subsequent booked court with their same opponent / partner, if booked in that opponent / partner’s name (You know what we mean!) – Effectively Reversed Bookings!
‘A’ Full Time members and juniors have rights to book courts at any time they wish.
‘B’ Part-Time members have rights to book courts weekdays up to 6.00pm.
Club League Captains, Surrey League Captains and the Fixtures Secretary can book any courts, at any time for matches (subject to any existing bookings)
Court bookings cannot be made during Junior Coaching. The courts will be greyed out and unbookable.
Club Sessions will consist of the following court allocations:

� TUESDAY EVENING CLUB SESSION.

This will include all 5 courts from 6.30 to 10.00 but with courts 4/5 bookable from 8.30 to 10.00.

� THURSDAY EVENING CLUB SESSION

This will include 4 courts (1 to 4) from 6.30 to 10.00 but with court 4 bookable from 8.30 to 10.00. Court 5 can be booked between 6.30 and 10.00.

� SATURDAY AFTERNOON

This will include 4 courts (1 to 4) from 1.30 to 5.00 with court 5 bookable from 1.30 to 5.00.

� SUNDAY MORNING

This will include 4 courts (1 to 4) from 9.00 to 12.00 with court 5 bookable (unless already booked for a club match).

Junior members have priority during Junior Club Night on Fridays between 4.30-6.30.
Booked courts not taken up within 15 minutes of the start booking time will be forfeited.

*Apart from Club League Captains, Surrey League Captains and the Fixtures Secretary who can ‘block book’ courts for League matches.
